Hurrican Helene help
Pinkie is taking a stand to help a couple of organizations supply much needed items for those affected by Hurricane Helene!!! We have chosen to support the Cajun Navy and a relief drive that her grandkids' co-op (Paths of Hampton Roads) is doing. For ease, we have created an Amazon shopping list that is set to ship to our office (please see below). If we get a lot for the people affected by Helene, we will choose to send additional received supplies to people in Florida who may end up being affected by the newest hurricane.CAJUN NAVY DRIVE INFORMATION
On October 15th and 26th, Pinkie will personally be driving supplies to a meet up location in North Carolina to donate whatever she can gather of nonperishable supplies. There is no limit on supplies that she is willing to take, so let's make it so she has to rent a trailer and show these people some Hampton Roads love! You can also donate a check or cash that she will personally hand off to the Cajun Navy to utilize in buying whatever they need.
PATHS OF HAMPTON ROADS INFORMATION
Paths of Hampton Roads is a local hydrid co-op that is running a "flood bucket" drive. Each bucket will be filled with cleaning supplies that can be used to help clean homes and businesses that are salvageable throughout the mountains of GA, TN, NC and VA. These buckets will be filled by the church leaders of Green Lakes Baptist Church and sent off this week. Their goal is to fill 1,000 buckets.
